This page explains what Kids & Apps collects on this website and in its apps, why we collect it, and which cookies are involved.

Who we are

This website

The website at kids-n-apps.com is a brochure for our apps. You can browse it without creating an account. We only receive personal data if you send the contact form.

  • Contact form: your name, email address, message, and optional business name. We use this only to answer you and do not add you to a mailing list. Send a request through the contact form.
  • Analytics: Umami, hosted locally, records aggregated page views such as the page, referrer, browser and country. It is not used for advertising and it does not build a profile of you.
  • Security: Cloudflare serves the site and protects it from abuse. The contact form uses an invisible Cloudflare Turnstile check so automated submissions are rejected.

Cookies

This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. The cookies below are there so the site and the contact form can work safely.

  • Cloudflare bot management (__cf_bm and, when a challenge is completed, cf_clearance). Strictly necessary. They remember that your browser passed a security check. They typically expire within 30 minutes to 24 hours.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile. Strictly necessary on the contact form. The managed widget stays invisible unless Cloudflare needs an extra check. It may store a short-lived cookie after a successful check.
  • Umami. Configured without a tracking cookie. It does not follow you across other websites.

Our apps

Data listed below is collected by the apps themselves and is not linked to your identity. We do not sell personal data. Some games show ads so we can keep developing them. Those ads are optional and meant to be suitable for children.

  • Super Spelling: user ID, device ID, product interaction and crash data, used for analytics and app functionality.
  • Help de Sint: purchase history, user ID and device ID, used for analytics and app functionality, including in-app purchases.
  • Help Santa: coarse location, product interaction, crash data and performance data, used for analytics and app functionality.

Apple processes App Store purchases and installs. In-app purchases are handled by Apple, not by a card form on this website.

Children

The apps are made for children aged 4 and up. This website’s contact form is for parents, teachers and other adults. We do not ask children to send us their name or email address. App data described above is technical and usage data, not a profile of a child, and we do not sell it.

How long we keep data

Contact messages stay in the support mailbox for as long as we need to handle the request, and then follow ordinary email cleanup. Analytics is stored as aggregated statistics on our server. Security logs at Cloudflare follow Cloudflare’s retention for the services we use.

Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict personal data we hold about you, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. If you are in the Netherlands, you can also lodge a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. Use the contact form and we will respond.
